There’s always someone or something that tries our
patience every single day. It could be
traffic or a classmate or a boss or a teacher or a co-worker or perhaps even a
family member. Perhaps today is as good
a day as any to offer this up to the Lord and to pray to the Holy Spirit for
the fruit of patience. We say “let go
and let God!” all the time, but do we really mean it? We may try to change the people around us all
we want, but in reality the only person we can change is ourselves. As we reach the halfway point of Lent, maybe
it’s time for us to really “let go” and let God be God.
